Owl be there
The cat was intently staring out the window on our balcony. Sky and I finally spotted a fairly big mouse hunkered down on the first step, between the wood posts. I said, heck no, mouse must go, and told Sky to grab a broom. He wanted to look at this cute thing a bit closer and tried to look at it with his phone flashlight, didn't work. He looked away for a split second, the balcony door was open at that point, and we suddenly heard a loud panicked squeee and a crunching sound. mouse was gone. Sky envisioned a ten foot monster grabbing the mouse from down below us. We grabbed a flashlight after spying a dark blob out on the lawn. An owl had solved the problem grabbing the mouse right from under our noses, and was feasting on it on the back lawn.
